Background

This was a short term but challenging and intensive assignment, working with four children from Ireland while they accompanied their family on business.

Outcome

The eldest girl was in the final stages of her leaving certificate and did extremely well following the tutoring. All the children loved working with the tutor.

The children did well with their Tutor. Eventually the school took heed of the steps that the parents had taken and addressed their concerns by making some changes that negated the need to retain the Tutoring service.

Due to delays in securing visas for a move to the US from England, the boy's schooling ran into difficulty. In order to be accepted at the top private school in the area they boys needed to be at the same point as their class.

Outcome

Tutors International supplied a Tutor who began the US school course while the family were still in the UK and then accompanied the family to Florida to ensure smooth integration.

A full time Tutor was appointed to create a relevant and applicable course of the standard of a full load degree, partly through tutorials and partly through correspondence.

A full time private tutor was sought for a young lady whose specific learning difficulty meant that she learned best when materials were adjusted to her highly visual learning style.

The tutor needed to use her imagination to change all materials from the school into visual/spatial format so that the student was able to succeed in the mainstream classroom.
