This family are homeschooling all the way to College because they believe that this is better education than traditional schooling. The position is now in its 4th year and the children are following a British curriculum.
For the first 3 years the two children shared a Tutor. Now, as their interests and strengths become more divergent the Client has opted to have 2 tutors to cover the subjects so that each can be more specialised.

The boys were cousins. One had been bullied at school and the other recently relocated to the area had never done well at school, so the parents sought a private tutor to home educate.
The Tutor quickly established that one of the children was dyslexic and was able to adjust the teaching to suit his learning style. After a year both boys re-entered mainstream schools and graduated normally.

This was a short term position. The Tutor's role was to maintain the children's education relative to their peers while temporarily in Los Angeles. The boy had exceptional memory skills and this was masking a difficulty with reading and learning.
Working with the tutor exposed the hidden learning deficits and largely resolved them. The boy was accepted to an excellent school in his home city of New York and is thriving.

This was a short term but challenging and intensive assignment, working with four children from Ireland while they accompanied their family on business.
The eldest girl was in the final stages of her leaving certificate and did extremely well following the tutoring. All the children loved working with the tutor.

This family were in the middle of a move from their home in France to the US, and their son needed to be supported in his entrance applications for the new school and with the transition from one system to the other.
The Tutor ensured that the boy was able to do well in the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) and therefore be accepted to his first choice of school.

Due to delays in securing visas for a move to the US from England, the boy's schooling ran into difficulty. In order to be accepted at the top private school in the area they boys needed to be at the same point as their class.
Tutors International supplied a Tutor who began the US school course while the family were still in the UK and then accompanied the family to Florida to ensure smooth integration.
